Cannon films sizzle reel from '86. Nothing says 80's cheese like Cannon films, about half of them were either never made it drastically different then portrayed in the promos.

Oh man so 80's it hurts. So much stock footage, headshots, name drops, and awful working titles/logos. You remember some random movie from 10 years ago? We're making another one, maybe.

The Stallone one is real. He even has an arm wrestling training sling he works out with in his rig apparently

Dustin Hoffman's head shots starring in a paperback book

Superman IV: The next one

John Travolta's next big thing whenever we actually come up with a premise

I'm afraid to see if the Norris "comedy" is real

Masters of the Universe toys but with the Neverending story theme

Duet for One, starring three people

Random boobs

Was that a ripoff or early concept of Short Circuit?

Godzilla spoof? ripoff? both?!?

Obligatory monkey movie

There is a lot of extra lore in that radio drama. Luke spends a lot more time on tatooine. It is absolutely worth listening to the original series.
Yep, I personally love the vast majority of the extraneous extra material. Including Obi Wan musing on how man didn't know what he was in for when creating droids.

The Progammers are Only Human YouTube channel has a brilliantly funny and incisive set of shorts skewering all sorts of people in software. This is his take down of Rust devs, equally good ones on JS, Java, C++, Python and more.
Yeah, those are great. The emacs, vi, and Python ones are great.

My last attempt at ice skating ended with me in the back of an ambulance on my way to the ER, but I still want to try curling. I don't know why but it looks like a lot of fun.

Curling is a blast and no skates so you're good there. 😂
I've been skating since 9 or 10 , pond skating, pick up hockey, good times. Got older started going to the arena for public skates, great place to take a date to when you're a broke teenager, a good place to meet girls too! I got all kinds of pictures from later in life skating with my 10 year old son and my then 67 year old mother. One of the last times skating my son has a pic of me just standing on the ice, few seconds i skated toward the rink door, and when i went to do a stop my feet came out from under me, and smashed my head and wrist, head had a fine lump, but bad sprain on my wrist got a pic of my wing in a sling with a half cast on.

It's kinda hard to learn to ice skate in a place that generally considers anything below 75 cool and anything below 60 to be fucking freezing lol. Though we did get to take field trips to our local ECHL team's arena to go ice skating if we were well behaved and kept our grades above a certain point (3.7 rings a bell). It was both painful and a lot of fun. Especially when the one (incredibly hot) gym teacher who used to be a professional figure skater started showing off.

Well, now I know this place is a thing

If I use dice to teach my kids math can I avoid paying withdrawal penalties on their 529's?

Or if you got into old school World of Darkness, you rapidly realized there was no such thing as too many D10s. I recall one game that ended up with an Uzi, fired point blank, at a door, full auto. Something like fifty dice hit the table for the damage roll.
That's like Tuesday for a Battletech player

And of course the D10 system for the first Legend of the Five Rings (and I think 7th Sea as well) that built on that with the concept of add-on dice, where every 10 rolled you could add another die to the roll. Meaning particularly lucky rollers had functionally no limit to the number of D10s they needed.

The emacs and vi ones had me in tears

The Python one is amazing, too... "sometimes we have a competition to write the longest list comprehension...and sometimes it's in production...and sometimes we don't call it a competition but work"

And his delivery of:

You do... from module import object.. and things are good.
You do import package dot module as object things are good.
You do from module import all... everything burns.

And the FFMPEG one is good, too.

Most all of them are pretty good, though, some are great.
