For anybody thinking about losing at EVE again, now is a good time to come back. The excrement is well and truly hitting the fan after the Goon war--the Goons are back out and recapturing space. Former PAPI members are reshuffling the map. TEST is bleeding pretty large corps at this point. And the resource shortages are over, but in a way that shook up industry and made some opportunities to re-learn how things work along with everybody else.

Man, I just had to re-learn how to fly in Elite Dangerous again last night.
NOT gonna jump back into EVE.
I haven't logged in for years now but damn does this sound like a jumping the shark moment.

Uh yeah, I remember when he was an up-and-coming Director who had just gotten his first capital ship. This was shortly after we'd taken Delve away from BoB when Goonswarm's idea of a fun evening was to bait and hotdrop any gang that dared show its face in Delve.
I can't say that I'm surprised things caught up with him, but I am impressed at how long he strung it out.
On an unrelated note if one of you owns the character 'Lysette Haven' I'm sorry for giving her the boot from her corporation, but I recently re-activated and the parent corporation isn't cool with unaccounted for alts.
For you NS ratters they also changed the minimum BRM to be 100%. Instead of 50%.

So after a decade or so of winning, I seem to have failed Eve last night. Spent some time hoovering space rocks on a brand new account. I gave away 3 of my accounts when I quit the first time (Zinbaba, ManofTeflon and PhoenixFireball). Anyway, I played back in the days of Ex Coelis and the Goon vs BoB war. Was wondering if any of those folks from back then still play (Headseed, HR Paperstacks, Wapacz). My old username here was just Zinbaba, but unfortunately I no longer have access to that email. In the meantime, I'll be mining trit in highsec for the forseeable future while I try and see what's changed with my 100k sp toon Chogglepants.

They also adjusted referrals so you can re-refer your accounts now. As expected, there is now a large amount of spam in HS.
I haven't heard from Rex in a very long time. I don't seem to have him on Steam anymore either, or he changed his name. There is an r/arsclan subreddit that is pretty dead, and an ArsClan memorial steam group, but both don't really have any activity. I asked about him in a old chat channel I'm in and will pass along if anyone knows what he's up to now, but it's unlikely.
In other news, I "won" at EVE about 6 months ago. I'm mildly impressed with the positive progress CCP has made recently, but not enough to come back and throw some irl $ at the game again. But if you're going to go back and sub again I have a suggestion. Most of the major null blocs have groups that are playing in Pochven as both a farming thing and a pvp activity. Learn about Pochven and those groups and join yours, it can be a lot of fun, and make you some $ pretty easily.
Damn, it's a shame, been trying to catch up with him for a while now. Seem to have lost his contact info over the years. I'll take a look into Pochven, not really sure what it is but I'll do some research.
Hopefully I can recover my accounts, at the moment I'm just sitting in high-sec in a vexor. It's insane how many SP CCP throws at new accounts. Apparently the recovery process can take several weeks, so fingers crossed. I'm still enjoying myself but, it's definitely a bit discouraging having 1.5 mil SP and being broke coming from being moderately space rich and having approximately 130 mil SP.
