    Twitter/X embeds from other places now use the ‘x.com’ thing. I don’t think XenForo has a built in media api thing for X. Might be an Aurich question, I think.

    I wish I’d been able to go to Arizona for the Twins series. Unfortunately, my house in the opposite direction demanded attention :(.

    Baseball's collective bargaining agreement calls for a player to receive a $10,000 stipend for wearing a two-way microphone for at least one inning of a regular-season game. The amount rises to $15,000 in the postseason.

    I'm sure it marks me as a traditionalist and a codger, but I am not a fan of the increased game-time access to the players and managers by the broadcast. I don't like it when the reports stops the football coach at half time asking "wat'll you do differently in the second half" and I don't like it when they put the interview headphones on a player in the dugout to talk. on the field during play is right out. We already have post-game pressers and trams posting stuff on every channel, and payer posting stuff and everyone talking on podcasts and Youtube shows.
