Forgot to take a picture, but I had a duck madras last night, which was spectacular. One of my favourite pubs has rented out their kitchen to an Indian 'street food' company which delivers consistently excellent and
unusual curries. Because it's run by Indian Hindhus rather than Pakistani/Bangladeshi Muslims (who run the vast majority of curry houses restaurants in the UK) you get stuff that you just don't see on the menu in most regular restaurants — they've also done a pork vindaloo that was fantastic.
So… if you find yourself in Nottingham with a yearning for a decent pint and great curry, pop along to the Keans Head, next to St Mary's Church in the Lace Market.
Here endeth the plug.
