I'm kinda digging the new album from Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats.

Overall impression is it's like they took their usual style and threw it in a blender with Ennio Morricone, Bohren & der Club of Gore, and maybe a little bit of Goblin.

Ok, I have been obsessed with this one. It's going on the obsession playlist. And it is pretty much in my top ten (at the moment... these things always vary a little). Essentially, it's pretty much among my all time favorites.

I saw an industrial band many years ago (I want to say Leechwoman, but I wouldn’t swear to it after killing all these brain cells in the intervening years) whose bass player wore a metal breast-plate. Instead of a guitar solo mid-number, the lead singer just took an angle-grinder to the bassist’s armour. Memorable, but not exactly musical.

wow, have not heard skinny puppy in a long time. i barely recall a cacophony of sound. I had their album rabies. At the time I was circling industrial bands like kmfdm, Front Line Assembly, Front 242, and Nitzer Ebb... I had to look up some of these names because it's been such a long time.

KMFDM and Nitzer Ebb were the ones I listened to most.

I was really into Nitzer Ebb's album Belief. Damn, I haven't heard these in such a long time.

so YT has been really mixing it up for me lately.

this song is a mixed bag for me. I really like the vocals quite a lot. And the bass solo... I really dug that. But the main riff just feels... paint by numbers. I would like to hear a different arrangement... or maybe, different guitar riff on this one. Just feels very generic.
