It's the 4:00 a.m. thread

Getting old sucks. I am pulling an all nighter because, come 0630 local, I am on a 24hr fast. Then at 1800 I have to drink the “magic drink” that makes me stuck to the porcelain throne, and the second dose at 0230 Wednesday morning. I was sort of wondering why all these morning appointments were open for the procedure and the afternoon ones were booked 2 weeks out…

Well, it's 2am time to hit the sack.

I woke up around 3:30, and failed to get in a short nap before my alarm went off at 5:15.

I hope this isn't the start of a week-long thing.

I rode a hard 40 miles on my bike yesterday, and then missed my post lunch nap. In bed by 8:00 pm and awake now.

For no discernible reason, I woke up at 1:30.

Now it's 3:47, and I'm approaching the point where I give up on the idea of getting back to sleep, and start drinking coffee instead.
