Boy do I need to follow this thread a little more closely. @teubbist, great build! The external MORA is just wonderfull overkill; you barely need the pump and fans turning over at all.

It's a small project box, with holes cut for a panel mount GX16-4(3, 5 and 12V
What GX16 connectors did you use, i.e. brand or store? I've had issues with the ones I've got. The terminals solder like crap. I ended up with multiple cold solder joints which caused a bit of headache. Pro tip: it's bad when your pump stops pumping. I've resoldered those joints with more aggressive flux and I'm still not 100% confident in the joints.

The idea behind this one is pristine exterior while system looks like it was dredged from a ship wreckage.
I love the colors in that patina. I'd love to see the reverse, where the interior is pristine and the exterior is all sorts of oxidized copper or steel colors.

When I built, 200mm fans were just beginning to appear, most rads used 120 mm fans as well. I think I’d favor 2 radiators or 3 if I needed to
200mm fans still aren’t common, if it was up to me I’d say 120mm or 140mm fans are the sweet spot. 2x 280mm or 2x 360mm radiators depending on your needs, although 420mm radiators (for 3x140mm fans) do exist…

Cheap random 8 pack from Amazon I'm afraid, except for the panel mount socket which I got from Ebay(cnc-planet).

Pre-tinning the wires and the plug solder points, along with using helping hands to hold everything in place for the final join seems to work fairly well for me. You can also cheat somewhat and cut down on how many plugs you need to build by buying a pre-made "aviation cctv/video extension" cable, which are usually GX16.
