I haven't been struck with inspiration, not a lot to get excited about in the patch notes really.I'm lazy @vishnu what should I league start?
While self ignite will obviously still be good for that kind of content, it is definitely more of a niche build without affliction stuff. If you want to just afk through sims on a second monitor while working from home, I can definitely see that though. Flask nerf hits the build pretty hard, but on the plus side capping max fire res becomes trivially easy.I'm probably starting Lightning Arrow just for funsies. Probably going to end up making another self ignite chieftain and farming Sim or something.
the campaign should be more interesting than normal. Not sure what GGG thinks will be a fun campaign encounter but my guess is another boss will get the Warden treatment and will show up in an unexpected spot.Added a myriad of small improvements and surprises to the Campaign. Fun encounters and secrets have been scattered throughout Wraeclast, though the fundamentals of the Campaign are still intact.
I’m pretty sure I’m going SRS poison which looks like it might get 5k instant leech if you take the mastery node which is pretty insane.I haven't been struck with inspiration, not a lot to get excited about in the patch notes really.
I'm leaning towards BAMA guardian. I'm interested in the new leech thing in necromancer, but I think at low gear levels you're still gonna get better performance out of guardian.
Wow, I died 6 times in Act 1 (so far), with 3 of those in mud flats. My Brutus fight was 0 deaths but really awful. Just no mana sustain for SRS and no other real damage. I just ran in circles for like 5 minutes constantly dropping holy flame totem.I feel like they made it much easier? this is the first time in I don't know how long where I haven't died by act 2.
Am halfway through Act 5. The campaign changes started out really well but seem to be running out steam. Not sure what GGG thinks will be a fun campaign encounter but my guess is another boss will get the Warden treatment and will show up in an unexpected spot.
I got 7 quick silvers from that!Level 1 of the Prison had a rare strong box behind a hidden door, like the Labyrinth dark shrine rooms, the dropped 5 utility flasks
So will Automation work with Soulrend and Blade Vortex? I'm considering a poison Occultist.
Automation is a skill gem that causes supported instant spells to trigger immediately and automatically off cooldown.
I guess that could be the reason, but it isn't like anybody spends enough time in town to notice or care, other than being annoyed by the sound-making MTXs while still staring at the loading screen. Soon as you load you just hit your /hideout macro.Yeah, it would also be nice to start in your hideout too but they want you in town to see all the MTX to buy.
Yeah, same. I was really excited to get into this league and had one of my best starts with EA Champ. But, after watching Grimro's video and messing around with it more, it's terrible (at least for me who wants PoE to be a game rather than a complex math problem). Watched Ziz's review of the mechanic as well and agree that most of us plebs can barely craft as it is, so something even more complicated is just not going to be fun. But, at least GGG already has some plans to improve things, but hope they can come up with something that a casual like me can enjoy! In case anyone wants to give Necro crafting a go, Grimro made a guide.
tl;rd for me is I can't be fucked with that unless/until someone comes up with a good tool to handle the calculation, excel sheets make me want to die at work, I don't need them in my PoE.
You sound and the increasing size of the graphic MXT. Next league they will be Macy's parade floats that just make endless flatulence noises.I guess that could be the reason, but it isn't like anybody spends enough time in town to notice or care, other than being annoyed by the sound-making MTXs while still staring at the loading screen.
If you are in guild there are lots of uniques and maybe 30% run boots that would speed it up in the guild stash..A little behind everyone, just got into A9 and I can't wait to be done with this damn campaign. Every time I'm in town it's a 50% chance that the game freezes on me. Never had it this bad before, I swear it's all these players and their laggy swag.
Yep! I've been making good use of the random gear that folks have been dropping in there, and contributing some myself. So thank you to all the nameless heroes who've donated to the cause. If you are in guild there are lots of uniques and maybe 30% run boots that would speed it up in the guild stash..
Be sure to check the other tabs, not just the <30 tab as there's is some decent mid-game stuff in them too.Yep! I've been making good use of the random gear that folks have been dropping in there, and contributing some myself. So thank you to all the nameless heroes who've donated to the cause.
At least when it's semi-affordable... I don't think missing Affliction juice explains the current price, especially given there's more Magebloods up for trade/equipped than DoD in either category. Guess it was too much of a "don't die" button to last forever and I'll take rarity over a nerf? @C_MacManus *looks like you ended up going EA champ anyway, so phew?Currently it's hard to beat Defiance of Destiny (if you don't 100% need a specific amulet) for a quick/easy/not-super-expensive swap to die way less (minus one-shots.)
Fixed a bug where the life leech from minion damage granted by the Necromancer's Bone Barrier Ascendancy Passive Skill was being applied at a tenth of its value.
This should help with the "stun" feeling that I and others have gotten, even in town.Fixed a bug with animation cancelling where you could become 'locked into' an animation before the contact point, which was causing characters to feel "glidy" or the feeling that inputs were being eaten.
