Finally hit l100 in my HC bash barb, which was easier than the thorns barb I was doing before. The bash barb traditionally focuses more on damage oriented skills, I relocated some damage into the shout heal/DR skills, and nothing could touch me. I was doing NMD100 before I hit l100. Will post some of the items later, there was a pair of boots I could have probably sold for some serious bank.

Honestly, I liked the basic season gear, this time. I dyed it to match the style I wanted, chose a custom headdress, and I was good to go. I don't know if I'll ever buy cosmetics, but I do enjoy playing with them when one drops. Ghost Horse looks pretty good, for example.

Agreed on both counts. Basic gear definitely worked for me:

Was originally grey/white but then Harlequin's Crest dropped and I dyed everything to match it before deciding I preferred seeing the character's face.

If we're on this subject, I might as well show off the paid cosmetics I went for. I saw this set in the shop and decided I like it enough to get it for my main character this season (necro). It turned out to be a good choice since I've not once been tempted to switch to other cosmetics since getting it:

Unlike most gear, the skulls are subtle and there are no insects or blood motifs on it.

And here's my mishmash gear on my sorceress, including the cosmetic wings:

I shan't mention which cosmetics those all are...

I really wanted to try something different on a sorcerer than where I have brought my current one to. So without changing her paragon boards, glyphs, or majorly changing her tree (about a dozen points), I tried out what had been on my mind and it was fun, though hard to see if it would hold up beyond clearing helltides.

So I decided to start a second sorcerer this morning. Getting the core of the build going came quickly and, while not as smooth as on my main sorceress, it was pretty nice. Then just before going in to raise things to Tier 3, the Iron Wolves gave him the a Staff of Lam Esen so he would not have to wait until 80th level to use one of the ones I have stashed away. Its just silly, non-stop charging through helltides right now. :D
