Nova Drift, a pretty nifty run-based Asteroids-like is going to be coming out of early access, and is getting an all-time-lowest discount until March 23rd, 65% off:

It took me a bit of getting used to at first. The controls are really Asteroids: turn left, turn right, thrust, fire, basically, so your modern twin stick instincts don't work. But the weapon/upgrade synergies can get really fun, and the dev has been tweaking constantly to try and many loadouts viable and interesting.

A good bundle if you don't have the main Saints Row games (or RFG remaster, I guess). SR2 is in the $1 tier.

Book of Demons is currently free on GOG.

Book of Demons is a Hack & Slash Deck-building hybrid in which YOU decide the length of quests. Wield magic cards instead of weapons and slay the armies of darkness in the dungeons below the Old Cathedral. Save the terror-stricken Paperverse from the clutches of the Archdemon himself!

They -- GOG -- are also having a spring sale, with some significant discounts.

Alpha Protocol - recently de-abandonware-d, only on GOG, 10% off.
God of War - 50% off.
System Shock remake - 50% off.
A Plague Tale: Requiem - 60% off.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection - 50% off.

And others. Bye, monies.

If anyone wants a silly way to do large-scale battles and test different eras of fighters against each other, Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 2 is on sale on Steam for $7. It's fairly limited, but it supports the Steam workshop which helps greatly expand the different armies you can try out fighting each other. I think it's totally worth $7 just for the fun of an evening of throwing Roman Legions at werewolves, but I wouldn't expect too much more unless you really get into tweaking your own custom units.

If you have a question of scale, I have done million-unit battles and my system performed well, as long as you don't put the graphics settings on Ultra.

That's crazy since it's a relatively new release.
Horizon 4 turns six this year (released October 2018). That's not particularly new.

It's newer than that on Steam, but that version came very late in its lifecycle (eight months before the release of Horizon 5, which was a simultaneous Xbox/Steam release).

Forza Horizon 4 is being delisted on the 15th Dec 2024, due to licensing terms
what happens when this licensing terms? Content in the game disappears or they just can't sell any more copies? If that is the reason for the sale it make me think "why would I buy something that will be dead in 6 months?"

As part of the Summer Sale, Hitman Part 1 is $3. It's not the full game, but it's super-cheap for the content you get. The content packs are also discounted, but not nearly as heavily discounted.
Also as part of the Summer Sale, the Mass Effect Deluxe Edition (all three games, remastered) is down to $5.99
