Are any combat games serving as a proxy for the fighting in Ukraine?

I ask out of curiosity and don't want to take up the political controversy. It's been years since I played any of the Battlefield games or others of that genre. I recall that some servers -- Forgotten Hope comes to mind -- had a nationalist spirit. Are you aware of any games, modded or not, that are now being used as a kind of proxy for the current fighting? Thanks.

Well, not the same as the current Ukrainian war and not about Ukraine specifically but the revived Microprose publisher did come out with a game called "Regiments" a couple years ago. Premise is basically the Cold War goes hot in 1989, and you start out in East Germany defending against a Russian invasion. Uses all real world time-period units and while it is an RTS (with pausing), it is more of a mil-sim. It really helps to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each type of unit and deploy them accordingly, e.g. tanks are great, but not when they're sitting in an open field. Entrench them for a static defense or keep them moving so they're not a sitting target.

Bit of a niche game but I really enjoyed it. May load it up again, actually.

Edit: It also has a demo if you just want to try it out.
