Has been awhile since I started a new thread. I used to be @havanas on Ars.
I am looking for some adventurous souls to install an app from an untrusted source (me!)... so as to see if this works on ARM or at all outside of local.
The app is a JPEG editor, mostly SwiftUI with an embedded version of the command line JPEGTRAN. I built it like 20 years ago in Objective-C and has some Arsians do testing then (see old thread link below).
JPEGTRAN is a fat / universal binary and - I think - now is dependency less. Had one friend test Saturday and had issues with a missing library.
Just I only have 1 Mac and no ARM chips localy and my friends are spotty at testing.
If anyone wants to try it I can put a link in reply or private message (if supported on here).

squarePusher: *sometimes lossless jpg editing
squarePusher * is my first piece of shareware. It is a GUI for the command line app jpegtran by the Independent JPEG Group.I primarily wanted to support the loss-less rotation and cropping features. The other features regarding how much of the headers are preserved is not yet enabled. I just...
