Coming March 12th: Tom's Hardware versus AnandTech - Folding@Home Round 2
Way back in the year 2016 we held a friendly but none the less highly competitive cutthroat competition with our colleagues arch rivals over at sister Purch publication Tom’s Hardware. Putting our processor time where our mouth was (ed: eww), Team AnandTech, our distributed computing team, took on Tom’s Hardware in a race to see who could rack up the most points (and do the most good) Folding@Home. Team AnandTech of course won that competition, and that was the end of that.

I'm throwing my spare cycles with AnandTech, because their reviews don't suck.

I wish you well.

I am staying with Ars Technica for several reasons:

1a) I am lazy

1b) I am running on 55 PCs, by the time I visit each one, the contest will be over and I need to swap back. [Edit: I retired a year ago August, I am down to 32 PCs, as some have been cleaned/replaced at my former workplaces)

2) I support Ars Technica very rarely, I am mostly a gadfly. I do support their Folding team.

3) ????

4) Profit
