RakeSearch - Perpetual Discussion Thread

Looks like we may be getting a new DC-Vault project if the proposed stress test works out.

The Project is RakeSearch: http://rake.boincfast.ru/rakesearch/
Current available apps: http://rake.boincfast.ru/rakesearch/apps.php

The DC-Vault discussion page is at: http://www.team-ninja.com/vbulletin/sho ... hp?t=60527

Right now we're in 68th place with 20,483 project credits and just 2 members: http://rake.boincfast.ru/rakesearch/top ... &offset=60

Chipotle is our team founder and current point leader. Give it a try if interested. As always, don't forget to join the Ars team (and have fun)!

There are also optimized apps being worked on by Daniel. I'm not sure of the current status.
Here's the optimized app repository: https://github.com/sirzooro/RakeSearch/ ... s/tag/v1.0

Oh boy, sorry but I can't be of much help. There should be a couple BOINC clients on Google Play. I had two of them set up on some Android devices running GoofyXGrid, but it was a PITA and they were NCI clients so no real compute power was needed. I was glad when GoofyXGrid was kicked off the Vault as it was useless and a pain to run. Worse on Android...

If you run RakeSearch on Windows or Linux be sure to install the optimized app. I'm using the SSE2 64bit and it's running here at about 7x the speed of the stock app. Some of the other versions might be a hair faster, but not too much according to Daniel. He also has ARM versions but have no idea how effective they are.

With Whizbang leading the charge, the 5 member Ars RakeSearch team has moved upward from 68th place to 1st place in just a bit over 6 months.
We're now crunching > 3,000,000 credits a day for a current total upwards of 252,000,000.
This gives us the maximum 10,000 DC-Vault points. A big thanks to the RakeSearch crew!

I will likely stay on this until I reach 250 mil or so, see what kind of lead we have opened up by then. Suggestions on what to hit next?
We have some projects where we're being challenged. One is TN-Grid. I have most of my boxes are running it but my 2 Ryzen 1700 machines throw errors on some WUs so they're still on RakeSearch. The Ryzen 2700 is flawless on TN-Grid. The 1700s work perfectly on every other project. The TN-Grid admin knows about the problem but hasn't fixed it. Anyway, 2 teams are making a run at us in TN-Grid and the places are worth over 74 Vault points each. In fact we aren't that far from the 2 teams ahead of us and if we pass them it will put us into 1st place in the Bio category (if nothing else changes).

A GPU project that we're being challenged in by 2 teams is Amicable numbers. A Vault place there is worth over 41 points. I'm switching most of my GPUs back to Amicable but it won't be enough if they keep pushing. We've done great work in Enigma and are up to 9975 Vault points out of 10000 (soon to be 9981).
