Digital Voice Recorders or an Android App.. Any recommendations?

    I'm going to be doing a bunch of traveling with clients for meetings at work.

    While normally these meetings are on teams, and recorded, these will be in person. I'd still like the option to record if the client is okay with it, but I'm wondering if it makes more sense to buy a digital voice recorder or just use an android app.

    I've got a Pixel 8 or Galaxy Fold5 for the android recording, but I'd have no idea what apps are good or if the quality would be decent.

    You have a Pixel 8 so you should be able to use google recorder with transcription.

    True. I have often logged in simultaneously into the same meeting from both my laptop and my iPhone, where the iPhone provided mic + video while the laptop was full screen watching someone else's shared display. I only had to do that because the laptop had no working mic at the time.
