Converting "Add to Apple Wallet" shortcuts for Google Wallet?

Maybe I'm being dense here, but I've never been able to get a pass/ticket into my Google Wallet when an email/receipt only has the "Add to Apple Wallet" link. Is this possible?

I'd say easily half of the tickets I purchase online come with a shortcut in the email receipt for "Add to Apple Wallet" links, but nothing for "Add to Google Wallet". Some vendors like TicketMaster have their own app which you can use to open your reservation and add to your phone's digital wallet. But some more local vendors tend to only have an Apple Wallet shortcut.

While I've found some apps to act as a digital wallet (in place of the one built into the OS), I'd prefer to just stick to Google Wallet. Is there a way to "convert" an Apple Wallet shortcut to add to your Google Wallet instead?

So I finally found an app that runs on Android that effectively does what I was looking for. It's just ad-driven, so it's annoying, but not the end of the world.

Pass2Pay:

You click on the "Add to Apple Wallet" link on your phone to download the .pkpass file. Open the app, thjen use the "Open .pkpass file" option. At the end of the process (after having to watch an ad), it converts the .pkpass into something that you can add to your Google Wallet. I used the Ad Guard firewall to disable the app's access to the internet, so even though no ad was actually loaded up, the app still added the .pkpass to Google Wallet after a 30 second wait.

Does it send your pass/ticket to some random server in China or Russia? Possibly, if you don't block the app's access to the internet. But at least it seems to work, and it's worked 3 times now for different tickets I've bought recently.

Hopefully this helps somebody else who's facing the same issue as I was, and hopefully this app keeps chugging along for some time to come
