I guess I should see what's available for purchase online, since my time for brick and mortar shopping is pretty limited.Not exactly answering the question you are asking, but would a book of crossword puzzles which you use a pencil (or pen if you're brave) be better to help someone with cognitive challenges? It certainly meets the "buy once" requirement, to a certain extent, and there are plenty of options as to difficulty level.
