HE50 & GK40 phone batteries

Hi guys,
Does anyone know where to buy new batteries from reputable dealers/sellers for the Motorola E5 Plus (HE50 battery) & E5 Play (GK40) phones? I have been looking at the ones at the Walmart website. I ask because a couple years ago I made the rookie mistake of buying the cheapest HE50 battery on eBay ($10 usd) & later found that some of these may be scams, selling used batteries as new, which happened to me. What is considered a price point for these batteries in new condition anyway? We use T-Mobile but I have not asked them yet if they can sell batteries to end customers. The ones on Walmart site look good, but I am looking at customer reviews/rankings of the sellers just to be sure.

I've had decent luck with amazon cell phone batteries in the $20 range for the 3500-4500 mAh range. Sometimes you have bad luck and get something of low-ish quality but usually they are fine. Not as good as the original ones that they come with, those can sometimes be good for 3 years or more. The replacements ones are generally good for 2 years or so, depending on usage patterns. Just be careful to order ones with returns allowed and some decent looking reviews. Watch out for the normal indicators of scams like reviews that mention completely different products, only positive reviews, etc.

So these are phones that are discontinued for ~3+ years and only run Android 8? There may be a crap shoot element to this as batteries have a shelf life and higher end vendors are not likely to put effort into making new batteries.

If you need 2 batteries, you might choose two different vendors and see which one works best.
