Fan replacement parts?

I hope this is the right forum for this question.

I have an ancient laptop (Acer Aspire M5-481T) that I still use regularly because it was easy and cheap to upgrade enough of the internals to make it perfectly fast and responsive with Alma Linux. However, the CPU fan (link to one on Amazon here) keeps wearing out its bearings and accordingly getting very loud. Rather than continuing to drop money on similarly crappy fans, I'd like to just find a quality fan of the same dimensions and replace the fan within the assembly. Problem is, I don't know what brand(s) of fan I could rely on to last more than a year, or where to go to find such a thing.

Any suggestions as to where I could find a good fan like this for the intended surgery?

Plug in the model number into Google, see if you can get a spec sheet with dimensions and whatnot, then search for similar fans on the internet? More specifically Mouser or Digi-key if you want specific retailers for this kind of stuff.

Ideally Adda will have a similar model but with better bearings? Going to Sunon, Nidec, Delta, NMB, would all work too but might have less odds of finding the exact same fan shape.

Also might be worth a risk to just replace the bearings on the fan with something better? Shouldnt be hard to pop off the squirrel cage and the bearings should be in mm and available somewhere like mcmaster. Might not help with the noise (ball bearing fans kinda suck at this regard) but longevity could be better with known branded bearings. I'd also put in a few drops of oil just to help.

So from your model and people actually selling replacements. Your problem will be trying to get "The good stuff" because it is so generic that so many people make that form factor for that era of laptops. From one Amazon seller they state " The fans are produced by Forcecon,ADDA,Sunon,Kipo or any other manufacturers, you may receive any depending on the stocks." So if by some miracle you can find a Sunon or ADDA fan? But more likely it will be "Other"

Like the link you put has ADDA in the picture. But the manufacture is "Other"
